Pakistan air boss hails ‘ever-accessible Turkey support
Pakistan’s recently named Air Force boss lauded Turkey on Friday for its “ever-accessible” backing to Islamabad on a few central points of contention, Anadolu Agency reports.
Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu was talking at a gathering with Turkey’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul, who called him at the Air Force central command in the capital Islamabad, as indicated by an assertion by the Air Force.
The two talked about the different issues of shared interest during the gathering which was the first between them, the assertion added.
Recognizing Ankara’s help, Sidhu, who was selected as air boss in March, said Turkey is one of only a handful few nations that have consistently “unequivocally” upheld Pakistan.
The two nations’ flying corps, he added, will keep on participating in each field.
As far as concerns him, Yurdakul stretched out his felicitations to the air boss on expecting an order of the Pakistani Air Force, which he lauded for its demonstrable skill.
He said the people groups of the two nations were “laced” in an “enduring obligation of fellowship, commended by regular religion, culture, and history,” the assertion added.
