Palestine discredits Israeli court endorsement of Jerusalem trolley project
--
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry on Sunday sentenced an Israeli court choice to endorse a trolley project in the involved East Jerusalem, Anadolu reports.
A service explanation named the streetcar project “a basic piece of Israel’s Judaization crusade in Jerusalem with the end goal of disintegrating its Palestinian, Islamic and Christian character.”
“The court choice is one more evidence that the court framework is essential for the Israeli occupation to serve its settlement and Judaization designs,” the service said.
It proceeded to speak to the US organization and the worldwide local area to heap strain on Israel to stop the undertaking in the involved city.
Israel’s Supreme Court on Sunday dismissed petitions against the development of the undertaking, which reaches out over 1.4 km long from the Mount of Olives region, contiguous to Jerusalem’s Old City, to the Al-Maghariba Gate, one of the Old City’s principal doors close to Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Israel involved East Jerusalem, where the flashpoint Al-Aqsa Mosque complex is situated, during the 1967 Arab-Israeli War. It added the whole city in 1980, a move never perceived by the global-local area.
