Russia has chosen to move units of its 217th Paratroop Regiment from Syria to Ukraine, Newsweek has revealed. Troops from the regiment were sent to Belarus a month prior to Russia attacking Ukraine recently.

The Russians have had a tactical presence in Syria to help the system in Damascus in its crackdown on political rivals. The wild polite conflict seething beginning around 2011 has killed a huge number of Syrians and uprooted millions more.

Reports from Ukraine guarantee that Russian soldiers in the nation have low confidence and need solid authority. The infantry soldiers are supposed to be capable, battle veterans. They are being shipped off Ukraine notwithstanding Moscow denying such redeployments on a few events.
